Marilyn holds a BA degree from University of Southampton (UoS), where she have had the pleasure of composing for diverse musicians and artists across various genres, including contemporary music, Ensemble, classical music. Her solid background in music, specializing in composition and production, She also was professionally trained as a classical vocalist,pianist for three years at a music high school in Southern China.

Now she is enrolled at Goldsmiths, University of London with a master degree in Arts Administration and Culture Policy industry. And she will focus on music journalism and promotion specifically related to live show/ festival/ theatre /social media and entertainment industry in general.​

She gets excited about exploring new artists and sound, discovering new talent and cultivating their artistry. From attending countless live shows to diving into music trends, she believes every artist has a unique story to tell. Her goal is to connect emerging musicians with opportunities that help them shine.

She is a self-motived and fast learner with a 'can-do' attitude. She is good at adapting to new environments and people. She also owns a music blog where she shares and writes about the behind stories about the artists and their creation. And she is currently seeing for oppotunity where she can hone her skills and put in her talents.
